During their last training in Cuba, 15 partners of the EMINENT project had the opportunity to meet with the management team of the University of Camagüey led by the Rector Santiago Lajes. 

On Decembre 3rd, representatives from 5 Haitian Higher Education Institutions, together with their colleagues from Austria and Spain, formed a connection with the delegates from the University of Camagüey (UC) "Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz". Partners made the most of this reunion to learn about the different areas of research from the Cuban institution, emphasizing their interest specifically in disciplines such as Information Technologies and Agriculture Engineering.

Narcisse Fievre, representative from MENFP and chair of the Public Regional Universities Network in Haiti (UPR), lauded the relevance bestowed within the Cuban Universities to Quality Assurance, as well as, their emphasis on ensuring excellence in teaching, research, and any other university action. Partners will explore further pathways to extend cooperation between the University of Camagüey and the Haitian institutions. EMINENT project will remain a referential point to articulate that cooperation.
